23rd ANNUAL STAN HARRISON MEMORIAL SPRING TUNE-UP MUSKIE TOURNAMENT FUNDRAISER

1. Tournament Headquarters (check-in & awards ceremony banquet)

2. Tournament hours:

Check-In: Friday, April 28, 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm, food, beverages, door prize drawings & Heartland merchandise table

Tournament: Saturday, April 29, 6:00 am - 4:00 pm

Awards Ceremony: April 29, 4:30 pm - 10:00 pm, pizza, beverages, raffle, silent auction & Heartland merchandise table

3. 100 team limit. Entries restricted to a maximum of one, 2 person team per boat.

4. Tournament events limited to ENTRANTS ONLY. Pre-registration must be done using the “Entry Forms” page of our website heartlandmuskies.org no later than Sunday, April 23, 11:59 pm.

5. Tournament entrants will be provided an official tournament sticker which must be applied to an official measuring device & be visible in the measurement picture.

6. All fish must be caught during tournament hours using legal Iowa sport fishing methods for Clear Lake. Fishing outside of tournament hours is an automatic disqualification!

7. All fish must be released unharmed.. Two pictures must be taken with one showing entire fish on the measuring device with tournament sticker visible & another of angler holding fish. Pictures must be shown to the tournament staff by 5:30 pm, April 29 prior to awards ceremony & will become the property of Heartland Chapter 10, Muskies Inc. If both pictures are not presented, entry is disqualified!

8. Tournament based on the following point system: A 30” fish will be awarded 4 points. In addition, you will receive 1 point for each inch over 30” measured to the nearest inch. Under ½” round down, ½” even or over round up. ½” measurements will not be accepted! Tie breakers determined by time of catch. Judgment will be at the discretion of the tournament staff.

9. No alchohol allowed in tournament boats!

10. Artificial baits only. No live bait.

11. Life vests must be worn above idling speed.

12. All entrants must adhere to all Coast Guard & Iowa DNR safety & fishing regulations, normal angling etiquette & each angler may only fish two lines at a time.

13. Any FISH KILLED BY AN ENTRANT becomes the property of the tournament staff until after the awards banquet. Report incident to Tournament Director for instructions & a committee member will come pick up the fish.

14. No unsportsmanlike conduct at the discretion of the tournament staff.

15. Entrant boat must not be tied to shore or dock (except in case of emergency or safety concerns). If necessary, entrants must not fish!
